My Adventure Story

We logged 4.1 hours flying a HIGHBIRD sortie as part of our biannual Wing evaluated Search & Rescue Exercise. (SAREX)

We flew a Cessna 172P, orbiting at around 6,000 feet acting as a an airborne radio relay platform for CAP aircraft and Ground Teams participating in the practice mission.

Illinois Wing received a score of "EXCELLENT" from the USAF evaluation time.
