My Adventure Story
Woke up tired from the long day yesterday. Rather slow start as a result.
Got on the road around 11:30. We stopped for gas and i changed my jacket. Oops ... I forgot my camel back piled on the back of my bike .. so when we took off from the gasbar it fell off onto the road. Big busy road too. I noticed it right away and managed to stop by the side of the road and retrieve it. But it was not a brilliant experience.
Ride up to Trapper creek wasn't too long and wasn't very scenic. Chris never even bothered to take out his camera once. Found a reasonable campsite ($10 per night again!) with Internet so that was good. We sat in the outdoor gazebo at the campsite (there are power outlets in it) and booked our campsite at Denali National park and our bus tour for the following day. Does feel strange to be camping and to be typing on the computer.
