My Adventure Story
I had a great time up here in Washington State. The car show in Puyallup but on by the Goodguy's Rod and Custom Assco. was Killer !! Lots of cool car, rods and trucks to check out. Friday night there was drag racing at the local track and stuff was happening all over town.
I was up here to see some old friends and to test out my new engine for gas mileage. Soon I will be heading out on an adventure to cover 49 states in 9 days. And hope to raise 100K for the Ronald McDonald House at Stanford.
I'm asking people to donate a "penny a mile" for every mile I will be traveling. I will leave from Needles, Ca on Sept 9th and arrive in Hyder, Alaska 9 days later, covering 9,800 miles. So the donation works out to $98.00 ..... or 100 bucks even. All the money goes to the House. Gas, food and lodging will be on me as my part of the deal....... well almost . I seam to have more cost coming into play as this continues. Oh well, it for the KIds !!
