My Adventure Story
This is the third Phase of the Great Bday trip. August 9-14. Resupply happened on the 14th with Dish and Spoon outside of Florence Lake. Would have gone off without a hitch if the stupid boat taxi lady had just let them on the 8:30 ferry. Unfortunately they were pushed back a few hours and ended up with, essentially, a day from hell. Thankfully everyone made it out ok and no one was actually injured and Marmot got the much needed re-supply and Kodi was able to be returned home. Thank goodness for true friends though, because if not for the pure grit and perserverance of Trish the Dish and Mike the Spoon, this could have seriously compromised the trip! So, this 'adventure' includes the remainder of Amy's day after getting resupplied and giving Kodi back as she continued on to Phase 4. She's over half way done!! ~posted kk 8/15/09
*Note on the pictures* I don't actually know where they were taken so I just used the "auto place" feature and hope that the clock on Amy's camera and the clock on the SPOT messenger sync up. She might tweak them when she returns. ~posted kk 8/16/09
