This was a great adventure. We worked for this hike most of the summer and it was well worth the work. We left a little late then what they recommend because we where only planning on going as far as the bolder field. The weather was perfect and we could not have planned a better day. The scenery from the drive up to the trail head was spectacular. We had to park a little far from the trail head but even that was ok, it just added a little to the hike. If you ever get the chance to hike up Longs Peak, take it.
