My Adventure Story
Explorers Andy Maser and Daniel Fox recently paddled 119 miles from Portland, Oregon to Warrenton, Oregon, where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. The trip was a benefit for the Disabled American Veterans and Team River Runner, two organizations that provide support for injured veterans. Along the way, they stopped at spots of environmental interest and spoke with locals about environmental threats to the Columbia. Of particular interest was Bradwood Landing, the proposed site of a massive liquefied natural gas transfer and regasification facility that would have devistating effects on the Columbia River watershed.
