My Adventure Story
This is my completed Iron Butt Assoc. Coast to Coast in less than 50 hours ride, I actually made it in 45 1/2 hours. I rode my BMW R1100RS from the Onslow Beach at Camp LeJeune, NC to Del Mar Beach at Camp Pendleton, CA. After I finished the ride I am took a few days in California to visit family and friends before I made the more leisurely ride back home to Virginia. The weather held out and I rode through the Rockies and took some pictures of my bike in front of some of elevation signs that I come across for a Peak to Peak contest in the BMW Motorcycle Club that I am a member of. I learned that the BMW Sport Bike that I ride needs to be traded in on a more comfortable touring bike.
