WOW, almost 1,000 miles today.  A long haul today, and ended up in the furthest Western portion of the State of Texas called El Paso.  My brother told me that there was some serious HEAVY rain and THUNDERSTORMS ahead of me and that I should stop at El Paso so I took his advice and stopped.  I should be able to make Carlsbad tomorrow, the final day of the cross country and back trip.
