My Adventure Story
We decided to go for a short little tour at Bridger Bowl ski area before the season kicked off. Since it's on national forest land, Bridger is open for public use before the season begins. Every year, after the first big snow, everyone that has been itching to make some turns comes out of the woodworks to get some skiing in. Bridger just recieved about 2 feet of snow and people were raring to go for the weekend with bluebird skies, cool temps and some fresh powder.
We showed up in the afternoon and the first two rows of parking were completely full, with more people pouring in after us. The Bridger Bowl snowcat staff had already been out and track packed some of the slopes, and the locals skied the rest. It was a great time just to get out and enjoy the fresh air and snow. There was plenty of energy as people climbed the mountain and skied their way down. What a great way to start the season!
