My Adventure Story
We left Magnetic Island in 35deg heat on Fri 20 Nov. New laundry work still in progress, but washing machine working and Jill needs a ladder to see inside the tumble dryer. Stayed Big4 Woodlands Townsville with ensuite site and slept in Troopie Bushcamper. Woke to a leaking water tank (we carry two tanks for water). Luckly, our appointment in Townsville was to have new/improved suspension mounted for rear of vehicle BIQ39G. Toyotal Landcruiser 70 Series (2006 ex rental KEA with pop-top roof). This further upgrade and investment of capital, was needed following installation the previous week of new super-duper backbumpor bar with 'gates' to carry two spare tyres. By the time this was installed at noon and we were ready to head out to Charters Towers, no more leaking water from tank.
