Left Seattle on 12 Nov, solo to Copper Canyon area in Mexico. Great trip, riding a 2003 R150 GS. Final drive failed approx 40 Km from Batopias on the road down from Creel.  I was able to removed the old bearing and install a new one on the side of the road using a chisel and Jet Boil stove. Installed the bearing incorrectly and it leaked. Only had motor oil to fill the FD with, but it made it into Batopilas. Trucked out three days later to Creel.  Stayed in great hotel right on the river. Phone service was out. Made it back to home on Saturday, 5 Dec 09.
