My Adventure Story
I rode Vicky alone today. I started from home and went along the South Boundry Trail. We joined the Chanac Creek Trail at the Fifth Crossing. Along Chanac Creek Vicky Pointed out some deer across the creek. I think there were about 5 in the group. The buck had a magnificent rack. I think they are too small to see in the picture. The second picture is looking back down Deer Canyon. We took Pipeline Trail past the lodge and down to the lake. There were a lot of winter ducks on the lake. Back across Chanac Creek, took Wild Turkey Trail home.
I worked with Vicky to get her eye in addtion to her head when she was going too fast. I don't know yet if I got her mind, but I think I did. I rode on a loose rein 95% of the time. It was great!
