My Adventure Story
Today, we went in search of OMTs (Old Mining Thingees). We went up Snow Canyon in the Argus Range. We found lots of huge OMTs, which made the day a success. We also saw a bevy (bunch, bivouac??) of burros and a couple of quali. Burro poop was abundant. Roobey did great, although the road wasn't that bad.
After OMTing (Old Mining Thingeeing) in Snow Canyon, we decided that going out the way we came in was boring. So we went out by way of Wood Canyon. On the way we found a really neat strip mine up in the hills, and a secret mining establishment. Cheri thinks it is an alien mining station, or perhaps a place where aliens suck blood out of normal people. They appeared to be mining some kind of white stuff -- talc, borax, gypsum, or something.
After a long day, we came home (i.e., to Panamint Springs) and found that the waitress just happened to put a couple of 32 oz beers out for us. What else could we do?
