We raced in the cruiser class race Border Run Race 2010 that starts at Newport Beach to San Diego, the short course of 70 miles.
This was the first year I've done this and we did it without a spinnaker.
this year the winds were lite. While our boat is heavy about 16000 lbs. It needs more wind to perform well. As you can see by the map, Our start time was 1155 am, (forgot to input a starting point) Looking at the map, we started a Bolboa Pier Newport Beach, with about 183 boats. Our class was next to last to start. I tried to send out a spot check in every couple of hours. So you can see we did well until about 10 when the winds stopped. We finished 101 out of 183
boats.
