A four day (3 night)  backpack trip with great friends from the North to the South rim on the North Kaibab trail and Bright Angel trail. Hiked with old friends Jay and Linda,and their friends Guy and Karen, and made a new freind, Gabe, along the trail. Total distance hiked:   22 miles.   Stayed at the Cottonwood, Bright Angel, and Indian Garden campgrounds on the trail.   Weather was superb.  Meals, thanks to carefull planning by Jay ,Linda, Guy, and Karen, were outstanding.   Saw tons of lizards, a king snake, deer, a desert bighorn sheep, and as we approached the South rim, at least 5 different California condors.  One of the best backpack trips EVER.
