My Adventure Story
16 25-35 Year old Honda Trail bikes rode from the Mill Creek Ranger Station (with other members of the group joining our ride at Angelus Oaks) and rode about 76 miles through the back-country of the San Bernardino National Forest to the city of Big Bear Lake where most of the group ate lunch and then headed back down the mountain to our start point. Pictures to follow.
I chose to leave my vintage Honda motorcycles at home and instead ran sweep for the group on my '03 Yamaha TW 200 dual-sport motorcycle which handled the trail with no complaints (other than being noticeably low on power once we climbed above 8,000 feet, however at that altitude it's rider was getting pretty winded as well!
Due to some meachaincal problems some freinds were having once we arrived in Big Bear Lake I left the group and returned to Mill Creek Ranger Station on the highway. Total mileage for me was 84.
