My Adventure Story
I have really wanted to see Meteor Crater in Northern Arizona. The trip was 320 miles, round trip. I left at about 8:30am and got home at 4:20pm. I saw Camp Verde again, Flagstaff, the Meteor Crater, and Winslow Arizona. It took me from the low desert to the high desert. Traffic was light for a Sunday I imagine. I haven't ridden that way on a Sunday before. The crater was, for lack of a more descriptive word...big. Very big. It was amazing to think I was standing where an explosion vaporized everything for miles and ejected millions of tons of debris in ten seconds. Makes you feel pretty puny.
