Today’s target is Penticton BC to visit Donna’s sister Ruth.  We were on the road by 8:00 AM.  Pretty well a record for us.  We had the long johns on and all the electric as it was in the low 40’s when we left.  We took highway 1 to 97.  The drive between Lake Louise and the Rogers Pass was once again amazing.  I will let some of the pictures vouch for that.  Once past the Rogers Pass the air started to warm and we started to peel off layers.  The snow covered rockies had disappeared and where replaced with tree covers mountains and lakes.  The drive to Penticton was totally enjoyable for the scenery but a little rough for traffic.  Do not come through Kelowna at 5:00 PM.  Nothing but lots of stop lights and crowded streets.  South of Kelowna the roads where fine but lots of different speed zones that made driving a little rough.  All in all got to Penticton and sister Ruth’s condo and are looking forward to a couple of relaxing days.  I am going to get the tires changed on the bike as they are becoming cupped and the front is less than 2 mm.  I guess pulling a trailer full time has taken its toll on the rubber.  Better safe than sorry.
