My Adventure Story

The Texas Water Safari, is a 260 mile river canoe/kayak race from San Marcos, Texas to Sea Drift, Texas to be done in under 100 hours.  The winner this year did it in about 34.5 hours.  

I followed the entire race, scouting it out for when I do it next year.  I learned a tremendous amount about all aspects of this race, the course, the boats, equipment, techniques, food and just what it takes to be the all important Team Captain for the ground support crew.
