My Adventure Story
Day 25 and 212 miles. Can't believe I'm back home, seems like it went all too quick. Maybe that is telling me I need to go back out as soon as my butt heals from this ride. Wow, what a change in weather the last few days. Riding in rain and hail to scorching heat with wind. All is good I guess, I didn't get a tornado.
The trip accross from Reno was nice as it's been a few years since coming through that way. One adventure that I will look into is riding through some of the abandoned Donner Pass railroad tunnels if possible. At breakfast in Truckee was talking to some of the locals and they believed some were still open for riding. Will look into.
I have met so many wonderful people along this journey and have seen much. Some have me very concerned about the economy as there was an abundant supply of poperties for sale, closed business', and astonished people who believes governments are enept. Least it's nice to know it is in both Canada and the US.
