My Adventure Story
Hey Everyone!!!
So this was our quick adventure to Tofino. Actually car camping road trip to de-stress and breath some fresh pacific air. The weather was a bit chilly with fog in the am then just the right amount of sun in the afternoon to give us the nice golden tans without the pain of a burn.
The first day we both surfed. The waves were a lot of fun about knee high. We played for about four hours and decited we should quit and get some food. After a brief lunch at camp we drove into town to have a coffee. But as we pasted our surf spot the sun was shinning bright, calling us back for more. So what would a sane couple do? Yep put back on our cold wet wet-suits and went in for another 2 more hours!!
The next day was awesome. Chris took out his duckey and I was in my new to me wavesport EZ. We quickly paddled out past the bobbing surfers and caught the first big wave we saw. Both laughing and having so much fun we didn't even notice we were on a collision course... for each other! In this case the bigger boat won. I flipped and was pined under the ducky. Pulling out in the cold water I emerged and saw Chris already there to help. Nothing but smiles and a good show for the spectators on the beach. In fact another kayaker decided to put his helmet on after the event :)
We had an awesome trip and I cant wait to go back. But our true adventure starts August 19 when we will fly to China, and travel to Tibet, Nepal and Thailand!!
