My Adventure Story
Our Oregon Coast Adventure started on July 31st we drove all day stopping at a couple places along the way Hat Rock and Oneonta Falls were we hiked through deep gorge of water and rocks to the falls at the end. We arrived at our destination Lincoln City were we had rented a house by the ocean it had an awesome view. During our trip we drove down to Newport and saw the Aquarium, Wax Works Museum, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, Under Sea Gardens and the Yaquina Head Lighthouse.
Our adventure also took us North of Lincoln City were we hiked the Cascade Head Trail with an awesome view of the ocean and saw around 30 head of elk. We continued up to Tillamook were we visited the Cheese Factory and ate some delicious cheese. As we kept driving we ended up in Cannon Beach and from here we went to Ecola State Park and hiked the Clatsop Loop Trail were 200+ years before Lewis and Clark had been on there epic adventure, here we saw Tillamook Lighthouse and some very lush forest area. We made a quick stop at cannon Beach to see the famous Haystack Rock (from the Goonies movie).
When the trip cam to a close on Augest 7th we had the long journey home and when finally made it back home we had traveled 1260 miles in the car.
