Nice Hike.  Took about 5-6 hours with me stopping to take photos frequently along the way.  First part of trail is rolling Sanora type landscape which then transitions to something which resembles the north end of the park with Canyons and Boulder fields.  Last mile is the toughest as you decend down into the canyon.  About 7mi round trip and 7.5mi if you descend down to the actual palms.  No shade, bring water.  Great views.
