My Adventure Story
We left Lake Sylvia, under cloudy skies. We past lots of the mega yachts that were in the boat show, tied up at Pier 66, including "Cake Walk", the largest yacht to be built in the USA in the last 150 years.
As we approached Miami, the skies were dark and very ominous. NOAA was not predicting any serious storms, but it sure looked scary. As we got closer the clouds thinned out, and some peeks of blue sky appeared, and afgter a brief downpour, it turned out to be a decent day.
Still waiting for this cold front to come through, which should be early Friday morning.
We are anchored in No Name Harbor on Key Biscayne for the night, planning on reconourting in the morning and developing a float plan for the rest of the trip to Marathon.
