My Adventure Story
This hike starts in McKittrick Canyon. The first day is 7.5 miles up to
McKittrick Ridge Campsite. The second day takes you along McKittrick
Ridge to the Tejas Trail. You then pick up the Blue Ridge Trail to Bush
Mountain. Overnight at Bush Mountain campsite after 9.2 miles. The final
day, hike over to the Bowl and then take a side trip up Hunter Peak.
From there, descend through Bear Canyon and pick up the Frijole Trail
back to Pine Springs. The third day's mileage is 7.6 miles, making the
total trip 24.3 miles.
