My Adventure Story

A 7 mile round-trip (according to the book Day Hikes Around Missoula Montana by Robert Stone) approx. 3 hour hike up the back side of Mt. Sentinel from Pattee Canyon.  On the front (city) side of Mt. Sentinel, half way down, is the big white 'M' that most people hike up to from town.  
 
Nice, not too strenuous, well-packed trail through sparse woods, one of the popular hiking areas near Missoula.
