Nice Large Parking area off of Hwy 22.  For a Saturday the trail wasn't too crowded.  Passed maybe 10 or so people there and back along the trail.  Starts off as classic desert then transitions to an "oasis" environment as you hit the first stand of palm trees.  Stream appears out of no where way up on the top and is absorbed into the desert before exiting the canyon.  Lots of blacktail jackrabbits, hummingbirds.  Lots for Wildflowers for late January.  Total round trip to the falls and back to the parking lot ~6.6 miles.
