Starting August, 2011, I am setting on a new adventure a 2100 km/ 1300miles walk across 5 countries in Europe.  I will be following anancient pilgrimage route,  The Viafrancigena, to Rome, Italy   I will walk across mountain ranges, farm fields and wineries, through Modern Capitole metropolises and centuries-old villages, through lake countries, carrying just a backpack with the bare necessities, such as food, water, tent, sleeping bag and clothes.   The countries that I will cross include:
