I wanted to get out and start my mountaineering training.  I picked Cervidae Peak since I have been looking at it everytime I go up snowshoeing. The weather at teh truck was 41 degrees when I left and 60 when I got back which was really warm considering that it is still winter in Idaho. The trip was 3.41 miles in length, approximately 2072 feet of elevation gain and took about 3 hours and 24 minutes to complete.
