My Adventure Story
Forcast winds of +15 knots with low leveal wind shear, and upper winds approaching +20 knots made my decision to approach the inner valleys with caution and decided to avoid a Mountain Flight due to the possible mountain wave wind effect on the downward slope. Flight plan fliled for safety.
Tammy and I departed Pitt Meadows Airport for a local Reconnaissance flight to become more familar with the area...I also wanted to check out the condition of the abandoned air strip at the far end of Stave Lk. On our way back we did some targeting on a couple of houses to practice Tammy's Aerial Photography skills.
With a greased landing to finish off the flight....another successful adventure.
