My Adventure Story
Margaret River
Still marvelling at the lip smacking reds from the Barossa Valley, it was time to see if the wines from Margaret River could raise to the challenge. Margaret River is part of the Leeuwin – Naturaliste NP that runs along the south west coast. We are camped at the Conto bush campground, a lovely camping area close to the beach. The coastal environment in these parts is unique, with red gum forests and coastal scrublands dotted with grass trees. Very pretty.
Over the next few days we assault our taste buds over a number of levels – berries, jams, chutneys, chocolate, cheese, liquers, coffee, beer and wine!
