Adventure to the Chicken Strip oasis and hot  springs in Saline Valley (Death Valley) CA. Flying yellow Kitfox model 5 with my brother Cleland. Got weathered out - snowing and high winds on departure day at Placerville. No problem. Leaving 4/14 in the morning, misty crossing of the Sierras at 12.5 thousand feet, flew along the back of Sierras crossing Mono lake, into Bishop. Then into the Chicken Strip. Hot pooled in the evening. Headed out in the morning flying around the valley and out the north pass to Bishop. Then to Mammoth lake and crossed to Yosemite and then north over the foothills to Columbia. Then home to Placerville in the evening.
