My Adventure Story

Around noon we leave Aterau togheter with other 3 bikers, Heidi and Bernd from Germany and Michael from France.
After a while Michael heads nord while we go east.
Heidi and Bernd are a nice German couple on their second two years long Round the World Trip on KTM 640 adventure.
I felt a noob in comparison because they have really  huge experience on the road.
We are driving at 80 km/h when suddenly the front tyre of Heidi (that she is just 10 m in front of me) explodes, (the air valve detached from the tube) she loses the control of the bike and slides and rolls on the asphalt for 100m. Fortunately she does not report major injuries and after a while she is smiling again but it was a really terrible accident.  
In the late afternoon after making sure that they do not need further help me and Tijs we proceed a bit and for the first time we sleep in the steppe in our tents.
