My Adventure Story
Another great day with my friends. After breakfast they decided to take me to Sisters, Or where they had some business to take care off. After they took care of their business we went to a very unique coffee shop and sat outside to have a cup of coffee. Weather has been beautiful in the past few days and sitting outside was very pleasant.
From Sisters we drove to Metolius State Park where the source of the Metolius river actually come out of the mountain and starts flowing north to the Columbia river. The scenery around the river is breathtakingly beautiful and serene. We walked a quarter mile or so along the river where the wildlife is abundant. I have seen fawns resting against big tree stumps waiting for their mothers to come and get them. I could not believe that when I heard it but sure enough other people assured me that it was.
After enjoying the river and the campsites we drove to the general store at the end of the Park and a had a bite to eat before we came home. It has been a great day and between yesterday and today I saw a lot of this area and enjoyed every minute of it. I am very thankful to Bill and Edweena for their hospitality and appreciate the fact that they took the time to show me around. Tomorrow I am leaving here to and ride to Corvallis to meet another friend (Robin) and spend some time with him and enjoy Corvallis and its wonderful restaurants.
I am sending some photos this time but no map since I did not have the Spot with me. Some of the photos are from yesterday. Hope you enjoy them all.
Cheers.
