My Adventure Story
I spend the morning sending forward to Japan a big box with cloths and other stuff that I hopefully will not need and that make my motorbike too heavy.
It takes me more than 2 hours to send the packet because they sew by hand a perfect wrap around the box.
Finally at 15.30 I pick up my Russian business visa at the consulate! Great ! Thanks to My friend Pavel I could get the letter of invitation and then this business visa that is necessary to have more independence and travel longer in Russia.
I decide to leave tashkent at around 18.00 but unfortunately the border crossing near the city is closed for foreigners and so I have to take a big detour and drive south for almost 100 km to find another border crossing.
I arrive in Shimkent at 2.00 h at night (also because time zone is different from Uzbekistan) and Eugentte an extremely friendly couchsurfers picks me up and hosts me for one night.
