My Adventure Story
Hi All: Hope you are all well and surviving Melbourne's weather. we are presently in Kalgoorlie, Wa for two nights. Having a great time. It's such a good feeling having no timetable and seeing so many new things. All is going very well so far thank God. It's still cool but not as cool as Melbourne. We have met nice people. Everyone is friendly at the caravan parks. Guess they're all on holidays, so are in happy moods!! Broken Hill was very interesting. we caught up with friends there who welcomed us very warmly. There is a lot of history at Broken Hill. Port Lincoln in SA was just gorgeous. we would both love to return there in warm weather. The caravan park was beautifully maintained and right on the beach, but it was too cold to fully appreciate the location! Australia is indeed a big place. Today we have seen the enormous mine at Kalgoorlie from the lookout. May go for a tour tomorrow. Crossing the Nullarbor was an experience in itself!!! The whole trip so far has been great. A big highlight was the "Head of the Bight" which is the most Northern point of the southern ocean in the middle of SA. It was spectacular and we spotted a many whales! We are eating well, in fact, TOO well!! We will be heading to Esperance after Kalgoorlie. Hope you enjoy some of our photos which we have attached. Love to all, Dot and Bernie PS We are on Skype: Just search for Bernie Crowley
