My Adventure Story
Entered John Muir Wilderness at the Horseshoe Meadow/Cottonwood Lakes TH. Spent two nights at South Fork Lake and two additional nights near Soldier Lake. One night each at Rock Creek Crossing, Crabtree Meadow, Tarns above Guitar Lake and Trail Camp. Summited Whitney on 13 September 2011.
We had rain, snow, sleet, hail, lightning and thunder 5 of the 8 days.
