Over a year ago 3 friends decided the best way to keep in touch over the thousands of miles that separated us was to pick a mountain to climb together.  Amy (Seattle, USA), and Chris & Jo (Invercargill, NZ) picked Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania as our excuse to hang out for a few weeks.  A year of training, planning, setbacks, and triumphant returns brought us back together in Arusha, Tanzania in Sept 2011. Luckily we got a 4th team member added to our crew, Tiffany (Wanaka, NZ) to contribute to the insanity.  This is the map of our adventure, including a walking safari in the Arusha National Park, and 3 successful summits of Kilimanjaro.
