We set out at 2pm to scout for the November Deer Hunt here in Baysville, Ontario. Following the path from our Cottage, we walked several kilometers through the logging roads before dropping our first Waypoint on the GPS outside the Ril Stone Hunt camp before we set on our way.
We climbed for about 1 km before reaching the plateau which opened into the Crown Lands in WMU53 A. Looking further, we spotted a valley trailing into a s stream that feeds Cream Lake. We came upon a clearing that had visible and recent Buck Scrapes. It was here that we set up our Moultrie Trail Cameras and began scattering the Code Red Doe Estrus and hanging Buck Urine Scents along with the C'mere Deer 3 Day Harvest.
Once we marked our camera Waypoints on the GPS, we tracked back to the cottage and broke out the wine and talked about our plans for the upcoming hunt.
