My Adventure Story
We departed this morning at 06:40 as the theory is that the winds are not as strong in the morning. For the most part the winds were less except for one ten mile section. A gust caught me and moved me over in to the oncoming lane. This is not fun on a two lane highway. There were no other vehicles around so I'm here to write this. Does keep one alert.
We stopped for gas at Tres Cerros. Its not a town but a gas station and restaurant 100 miles from nowhere. And to our surprise they had Wi-Fi. The power of satellite technology.
Leaving so early put us in to Puerto San Julina at 12:45. We found a decent motel that has a restaurant, and Wi-Fi too. What more could a moto tourist want?
Three days and 588 miles to go. Tomorrow we're off to Rio Gallegos at 222 miles. Tuesday and Wednesday are short days but include two border crossing (Argentina/Chile/Argentina) gravel across Chile and of course the extreme winds. All a part of the Adventure.
