My Adventure Story
This past week Sea Fever and Mindfulness spent Monday thru Friday at Mantanzas river by the old spanish fort. Compass Rose had to be towed back to St Augustine to get a new fresh water pump and get it installed. Tom had the repairs done within hours of receiving the parts and they joined us by mid day Friday. First thing Sat. morning we all weighed anchors and left Matanzas for Daytona. We spent the night at anchor there, and the crews of Sea Fever and Compass Rose dinghied ashore for a visit to West Marine and... a stop for a long happy hour at the Blue Grotto.
Sunday we had a liesurely start to the day, lifting anchors about 10 and had a nice motor sail just about the entire way to New Smyrna Beach. Tomorrow... we'll head toward Titusville, with possibly an overnight stop in Mosquito Sound..
