My Adventure Story
This is our track from Manatee Pocket on Feb 10, to Lake Worth, Riviera Beach, Lake Boca Raton, Lake Sylvia and now a place called Bakers Haulover, just north of Miami.
Lake Worth provided an excellent and roomy anchoarage, while Riviera Beach was fairly small and very shallow. Lake Boca Raton allowed room for several deep draft boats and was very comfortable. Lake Sylvia, while described as shallow, provided a large area of fairly uniform depths of 10-14 ft. Bakers Haulover is a very large area adjacent to a park and beach with good holding, and room for lots of boats, even those with deep drafts.
