My Adventure Story
Recently moved to Albuquerque and have been looking at the maps top find twisty roads. Found Sandia Crest Road leading to the peak of Sandia Mountain from Highway 14. Weather was warm, dry and sunny. Easy ride across town to the start of Sandia Crest Rd. 14 miles from the start to the peak. A lot of switchbacks few long straights. Not as tight as the Tail of The Dragon in Tennessee but entertaining. After walking around at the peak, over 10,600 ft elevation rode back down and home.
