My Adventure Story
Launched at Alameda Point beach at around 10:30am on a sunny saturday. Was a busy and crossing near the mouth of the estuary with many motorboats. I took refuge at a red weather station buoy to be more visible(good trick I discovered) and waited for a clear path to cross over to the bay bridge. was a bit stressful but comes with the territory and I was aware of that. Landed at clipper cove beach, did a little intentional swimming, 50 degree water is cold even with a wet suit and sea hood so that didn't last long. Headed back with the flood and the wind and made it back in record time. about an hour and 20 minutes on the return. a good day on the bay
