Today we went to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.  On the way we saw our first snow.  It was on a mountain in the distance, not near where we were, but it was snow.

We were pleasantly surprised that there was not a lot of traffic or people at the park, especially since they had some sort of event going on.  We were able to park and go where we wanted to without any trouble.

What can be said about Grand Canyon?  It is spectacular, amazing and gigantic.  It is unbelievable to see what nature can create.  Erosion can be a beautiful thing.

We left the park a different way than we entered it.  The road was a good one, allowing glimpses of the canyon from time to time.  The trip back to the hotel was uneventful.
