My Adventure Story
I'm setting out from London Ontario on a 3 month tour of knowledge, enlightenment, and adventure. I can imagine no better time to be bombing around Iran then when it is at its political pique with regards to their nuclear program. Regardless, of the official stance of the country, the Persian people are still kind and hospitable and I hope to show this to friends and family home in Canada.
Add to that the turmoil that Iraq has faced for the last 10 years of war and oppression before then. However, unbeknownst to most is the peace and civility of the Kurdish region in the North. I see this as a perfect opportunity to experience a unique and safe location before it is over-run by others with the same idea.
Finally, the majority of the summer will be spent on a Euro tour through more established areas, including a work term to hopefully refill my wallet.
