Skeeters Pit BBQ RTE, Shamokin Dam, PA - 551 miles

Memorial Weekend Ride To Eat event.  I rode 245 milest to Shamokin Dam to meet up with over 20 other ST owners.  I left the house at 6:30am and met Johnathan in the Bob Evan's on Hwy 28 near Springdale, PA, north of Pittsburgh.  We rode together to north of Kittanning, before Johnathan headed to a family event.

I continued on up hwy 66 to I-80 and headed East.  ...for about 135 miles!  I exited onto Hwy 15 and made it to Skeeters at 11:55!  Along the way, Jay called to let me know he was going to be there.  We had a really good turnout for the RTE.  I don't know what the actual number was but it was probably over 20 people showed up.  We had people from NJ and even one chap from Canada.

After lunch, I rode with Jay to his home in Hummelstown, about an hour south, near Harrisburg.  After visiting with Jay's family, I headed home on the PA Turnpike.  I was very fortunate that I missed all the heavy thunderstorms and only got a few light sprinkles along the way. 

Made it home at 7:30pm after 551 miles!
