With the push of a button, FocusPoint International, Inc. provides emergency rescue coordination and monitoring through their dedicated search and rescue coordination centers. - for example, contacting 9-1-1 responders in North America and 1-1-2 responders in Europe. The SOS button is for emergencies only.
Tracking
Customized tracking features take your adventure to the next level. Choose motion-activated tracking regardless of the level of service you choose and set up a vibration sensor to tell your SPOT to send track updates when you are moving and to stop when you do.
Check In
Send a pre-programmed text message or an email with GPS coordinates to up to 10 contacts with your location. Your waypoint is stored in your SPOT account for later reference. Your stored waypoints can be easily integrated into a Shared View.
Custom Message
Set up Custom Messages before your next adventure to send to your list of pre-determined contacts. Use this feature as a secondary OK message or transfer your personal help alert to this message function if you are using a SPOT R.A.P. service on your Help button.

Alert your personal contacts that you need help in non-life-threatening situations or use SPOT Roadside Assistance Plan for professional vehicular services on land. (Additional service required)

SPOT works around the world, including virtually all of the continental United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, Australia, portions of South America, portions of North and South Africa, North-East Asia and hundreds of miles offshore of these areas.
Estimated coverage area. Actual coverage may vary. Success rates are forecasts for a SPOT messenger to successfully deliver a single message during a 20-minute period, based on network availability. Additionally, in everyday conditions it is normal for some messages to be blocked by your environment, such as hills or buildings. The SPOT Gen4 RAM® Tough-Claw™ base, designed specifically for the SPOT Gen4™ secures your device while keeping all buttons and the power port fully accessible. You can easily attach your SPOT device to round, square, and odd-shaped rails and bars ranging from .625” to 1.5” in outer diameter. Designed into the mount is a 1” diameter patented rubbed ball and socket system with adjustment points as both ends of the socket arm; this with a twist of the arm knob, allows you to move the mount to your optimum viewing position.
