OVERLANDERS

Aldo from Italy, his wife Vera from Moldova and their Totò - a converted into a tiny home on wheels, Toyota Landcruiser formed Alveto Expedition. The couple started to drive overland around the world in 2016 and since then they have crossed 5 continents and visited 65 countries. In 2023 they will enter Africa, their sixth and last driveable continent; from Egypt they plan to reach Cape Town and return back to Europe from Morocco.

"We have used SPOT for many years already, all around the world and we are very proud to be now part of the SPOT Ambassadors team. We are driving through some dangerous countries and many remote places, our SPOT device gives us more security and safety everywhere we go and not just to us but also to our families and friends".

She enjoys the challenge of pushing herself mentally through difficult endurance feats. Kelly works hard through adventure and art to inspire people to get outside.

We are modern-day nomads, spending more time in the backcountry or on the road than settled somewhere. Over the years, our SPOT device has given peace of mind to our friends and families with our 12,000 cumulative trail miles and goals to reach the highest peak in every state. When Justin climbed Denali in 2016, I (Patrice) stalked his SPOT check-ins. I am so stoked we’ve upgraded to the SPOT X two-way satellite messenger for his 2019 Denali climb. As the person left behind, it will ease the worry at least some!
