Survival College & Scotlyn Ranch

Survival College and Scotlyn Ranch are glad to be working with SPOT. We heartily endorse SPOT Trackers and we are very proud to have our Survival Challenges and other events sponsored by SPOT. Survival in different situations requires different tools; it isn't just about how to build a shelter, a fire, or how to set a fractured bone. Sometimes survival requires an immediate emergency response and in those cases, the most important device you can have in your survival bag is a SPOT GEN3.

Survival College is located on Scotlyn Ranch in Central Idaho. With over four and a half square miles of rugged terrain, pine forests, over six miles of running creeks and streams, and canyons that are 1,600 feet deep, Scotlyn Ranch is like a privately owned national park. Scotlyn Ranch and Survival College provide numerous outdoor activities from ATV Excursions on our 25 miles of ATV trails, day and overnight horseback rides, deer, elk, and pheasant hunting, survival education classes, camping, as well as off-site activities including jet boat tours in Hell's Canyon, or fishing and river rafting tours on the Snake, Salmon, or Clearwater rivers nearby.
